A Shift In Consciousness
As we end 2013 and begin 2014 The human race has never been so desperate for a transformation and a new direction. The past few years we have seen the effects of half-conscious self-destruction, as man-made catastrophes multiply and stress mounts in every aspect of life. We must confront our ignorance by becoming awakened to the shadow aspects of ourselves. Only until we integrate these lower aspects and perceived negative qualities of ourselves will we be able to transform not only our own lives but the world.
The Spiritual law of polarity teaches us that every situation is made up of opposites. The social problems and entrenched patterns at the source of global issues are too vast and complex to be solved at the personal level, yet, paradoxically, personal transformation of the individual offers a lonesome opportunity to avert the catastrophes we are engineering for ourselves. Human consciousness has a critical role to play in our collective destiny.
The shift, is the dramatic re-ordering of ones psyche, producing changes that greatly benefit the body, mind and spirit. It is marked by considerable expansion of awareness of the inner spaces of mind and heart, and of the inter-dependent nature of all things. It is a reconstruction of ones life and purpose rebuilt on a foundation of truth, peace, strength and flexibility, and it is brought about by a laborious process of reflection and self-realization. The end result of the shift is the experience of a new, world-centric perspective on life, the reclamation of mental and physical health, and the discovery of the strength, courage, and fearlessness needed to wade through these spiritual years.
Personal evolution is both a great duty of all humans as well as a process of divine significance.
What effect does the shift have on us as individuals?
As our vibration and consciousness are being elevated to higher levels, we are being continually challenged to let go of our limited old level of being. We humans tend to instinctively hold on to what is familiar, and resist moving into the unknown, not trusting that it can be a place of greater freedom and happiness.
Growing beyond our old level of awareness requires letting go of our lower vibrational “stuff”, such as our limiting beliefs, our fears, and our physical-emotional and psychological distorted perceptions of limitation. As part of this clearing process, our stuff tends to become extremely amplified, so that we must finally deal with it before being able to release the toxic energy once and for all.
Spiritual situations which cause us to awaken do not have to be searched for, they are situations and experiences which affect our survival and well being as a whole. This same awakening process can be seen occurring on a global level. Many of the events that are being played out on the world stage are a cleansing of humanity’s collective toxins, and a bringing to light of humanity’s collective “shadow”.
Most of the “disorders” that many are currently experiencing, are due to this intensified energy. These include: Generalized Anxiety Disorder, Attention Deficit Disorder, Obsessive-Compulsive Disorder and Depression. Because everything is being amplified – especially our emotions – conditions which may have existed previously as minor problems, are now becoming intensified to the level of major disorders.
Many people are experience some very positive changes along with the challenges. These include: increased intuitive abilities; feeling more open hearted and compassionate; experiencing a greater degree of divine support and guidance in one’s life; feeling more bliss and grace in one’s meditations; discovering new creative abilities; receiving new insights and gaining deeper self understanding; experiencing more cosmic coincidences, aka “synchronicity” occurring in one’s life; and feeling a deeper connection with Spirit and with all life.
Some helpful tips to help you during your Awakening………….
1. Meditate daily. Daily meditation is ideal for relaxing and allowing the intense cosmic energies to flow through you, rather than resisting them… for facilitating the process of raising your consciousness and vibration… and for letting go of your limiting old baggage.
2. Stay centered. While you are going about your day, try to remember as often as possible to shift your attention back to that calm inner center you’ve touched upon in meditation. One effective method for doing this is simply paying attention to your breathing – for a few moments when you are getting stressed or in between tasks.
Remembering to stay centered is a very effective way to reduce stress, as well as a good way to get use to living at a higher vibration. Currently we are being subjected to powerful upward and downward pulling energies. Shifting back to your calm center as often as possible helps you stay aligned with the upward pull.
3. Learn to trust in higher guidance and assistance. There is much support available from the unseen realms to help us move through this difficult transition.
4. Get plenty of vitamin B. Vitamin B supports the nervous system
5. Take hot sea salt baths. Salt is a natural astringent which helps extract toxins from the body. Hot baths help relieve tension.
6. Eat an alkaline diet.
7. Laugh often
8. Go out in nature
9. Get enough sleep
10. Stay hydrated
In closing: Try to remember that these are extraordinary times-
Our old definitions of normal and what we perceive as normal, no longer apply. Everything is amplified, including our quirks and fears, so you might consider practicing a little more forgiveness to yourself as well as others! The shift in consciousness is the awakening of man, and the promise that one day heaven will be on earth.
