It is my belief that the manifestation of unresolved emotional trauma and negative mental toxicity play a large role in the overgrowth of bad bacteria. This fungi is otherwise known as candida albicans or thrush
Emotional and psychological trauma is considered anything which is perceived as traumatic to the spirit. Anything from natural disasters, accidents, physical pain, sickness, and anything else which brings psychological, physical, or emotional pain.
Anyone who is familiar with candida knows to avoid sugar, yeast, and antibiotics because they contribute to the growth of bad bacteria and the suppression of good bacteria. Individuals who suffer from candida manifest physical ailments such as bloating, fatigue, mind fog, spaciness, head aches, irritable bowel syndrome, thrush, muscle and joint aching, among other things.
My belief from treating myself and others, with candida is that all major imbalances and  chronic diseases stems from an over abundant amount of bad bacteria known as candida in the digestion track. It is important to realize that the diseases and imbalances caused from candidas differentiate from person to person. Everything from depression to chronic fatigue syndrome to cancer can manifest in people who suffer from candida. The reason is because candida suffocates the immune system and deteriorate the digestive track.
Candida grows through the intestinal wall causing a condition known as leaky gut syndrome. This is where undigested food particles enter the blood stream. All molds and fungi caused from candida produce bio toxins which have their own negative side affects aside from leaky gut and the normal manifestations caused from candida. However, too cut to the chase the overall digestive and immune system is compromised causing the individual to become more susceptible to nutritional deficiencies and infections.
The reason why there is a correlation between candida and healing the spirit is because any situation which makes us question ourselves and look to ourselves begins with a situation which triggers our survival. The freeze response of our survival is a spiritual factor because when the freeze response is triggered an individual is unable to psychologically “integrate” the traumatic event because the situation was overwhelming, when this happens we feel frozen and stuck The stagnant energy stays within our energy body and etheric level of our aura until it is revisited, integrated, and released.
If the  negative psychological or/and  emotional energy isn’t released later experiences can re trigger the unresolved trauma. Unresolved trauma is seen as energy blockages and/or spiritual blocks. These blocks cause the body to become over reactionary, causing an over active immune system. The physical and psychological manifestations of candida cause the individual to unconsciously form habits, conditions, and patterns of behavior that are sabotaging to their over all well being.
Unresolved emotional trauma affects not only the endocrine system but the limbic system which over time causes abnormal impulses affecting the central nervous system ,cells and organ tissue.
Detoxifying and releasing unresolved emotional trauma by healing the spirit is just as important as diet, lifestyle and other biochemical approach. There are many holistic and spiritual programs and rituals to heal candida. I personally offer SRT, energy healing, psychic healing combined with nutritional and lifestyle recommendations. If you suspect you have candida it is best to begin a  daily healing regiment as soon as possible.

Some recommendations for healing candida are to  avoid heavy metals and consider working with a certified holistic health coach to do a metal cleanse. Metals such as aluminum come from antacids, food additives, while wood preservatives antiperspirants, water supplies, pesticides, paint, have arsenic. Some sources of cadmium are cigarette smoke, refine grains, shell fish, tuna, organ meats, soft drinks, batteries, tea and coffee.
Metal cleanses include lead and mercury cleanses. Lead is contained in cosmetics, hair colouring, old pluming, and glazed  from pottery. While mercury buildup is caused from non organic fruit , vegetables and grains because they are treated with mercury based fungicides. Also, avoid vaccines , atmospheric pollutions and seafood because they too have mercury.
A general diet and nutritional supplements for treating candida can be followed but for best results work with a certified  holistic health coach because every individual is uniquely different. However, some suggestions are the nutritional balancing diet, eat allot of dietary fiber, a diet low in natural and other sugar, incorporate enzymes and probiotics, incorporate a daily antifungals like Bragg apple cider vinegar,
Eating a diet that is 20% high protein, such as fish, chicken,duck, seeds, and eggs, 10% complex  carbohydrates such as rice, beans and oats and 5% fresh fruits.
The ideal diet for those who suffer from candida is to eat a diet high in fiber and protein. Some acceptable foods are grains whole in amaranth and flour, whole barley, buckwheat, Undergerminated corn meal, popcorn, millet, brown basmati rice, Texmati brown rice, Wehani brown rice Rye flour, Spelt, Whole Teff and flour, Wheat berries, Unprocessed wheat bran, Japanese noodles
Legumes,  black eye peas, chick peas, garbanzo beans, lentils,soy beans, soy flakes,split pea
Dairy recommendations: are  unsweetened soy milk, almond milk, plain yogurt and acidophilus culture,
Nuts and seeds: Almonds, Brazil nuts, Cashews, Hazel, Macadamia, Pecans, Pine nuts, Poppy, Pumpkin, Sesame, Sunflower and tahini
Fresh lemon, lime, tomato and eggplant
Vegetables: Beans, Broccoli, Brussel Sprouts, Cabbage, Cauliflower, Celery, Cucumbers,Green Pepper, Kale, Lettuce, Onion, Radishes, Parsley, Peas, Rocket or arugulla, Spinach, Tomatos
Beverages: Almond Milk, Toasted whole barley, coffee substitute (without malt), unsweetened soy milk, Paul d’Arco tea,Water plain or carbonated.
Condiments and Seasonings: Chicken broth- without sweetener, fresh garlic, fresh ginger,fresh herbs, fresh onion, cilantro, pepper, pink or sea salt, raw apple cider
Antibiotics in meats that are not organic can make candida worse. Choose meats such as Antelope, bear, buffalo, duck, caribou, chicken, deer, duck, eggs, elk, all types of fish, frog, pork, quail, moose, turkey
These foods when taken in recommended portions will foster healthy levels of candida, a healthy immune system and a strong physical  body.
