Everything in the world is made up of energy, and this energy illuminates what is called an aura. The “aura” or “human energy field” is a field of energy which surrounds and penetrates the body. The aura underlies and supports the functioning of the body. Contained within the aura are the energetic aspects of every structure and function of the body, as well as everything that we experience (physical sensations, thoughts, feelings, states of consciousness, etc.)

Energy flows through the energy field through fine channels, or nadis, which are themselves composed of energy.

An aura is an energy field, which surrounds every thing in the universe; humans, organisms, animals and even object have an aura. An aura is much like an auric egg, which has it’s own electromagnetic field, and can be sensed with the 5 senses.

An aura is made up of seven interrelated layers and each layer has a distinct and unique frequency and vibration. These layers interact and relay information between human body through its seven chakra energy centers, as well as the immediate external environment. The energies from the chakras produce an aura.

Each of the layers relates to the mental, physical, spiritual and emotional conditions of an individual. Energetic vibrations of our feelings, thoughts, awareness, state of health and past experiences are stored in different parts of our aura’s layers.

The first layer of our aura is known as the Etheric. It vibrates at the slowest vibrational frequency. It’s function is to be in the here and now. It relates to the root chakra, which identifies with our health, survival, security, comfort and, pleasures. It is the most tangible manifestation in our conscious being.

Physical imbalances, which manifest in the Etheric level of our aura are kidneys, suprenal glands, spinal column, digestion disorders, bones, blood, immune disorders, and anxiety

The second layer of our aura is the Emotional body. It is associated with the vibrational level of inner feelings and it relates to the second chakra, the sacral or sacrum. The emotional aspects of our lives is describes through our moods and emotions with respect to self and others, boundaries, self- acceptance and self-love. It is important to know that all past emotions, which have not been integrated are stored in this layer of our aura and eventually manifest as disturbances and blockages, which cause sicknesses. Spiritual healing is done on this level to correct these imbalances. The emotional body of our aura is very thin, only 2cm thick and surrounds the body much like a silhouette. Your energy, which is reflected in the emotional layer of your aura, is determined by our chakras and meridians, much like a body double and body matrix, which acts like a template for the physical body.

Through mantras, sound healing, symbols, and essences we can manipulate and change this layer of our aura.

Physical imbalances related to the emotional level of our aura, are reproduction, gonads, hormones.

The third layer of our aura is the mental body. It reflects our conscious mind, logic, intellect, and active thinking. It relates to our ego, and our third chakra the solar plexus. Our mind shapes our reality, it is the constructor and builder, it reflects our ability through how we develop our personality and how we learn.

Physical imbalances in this layer of our aura are: stomach, liver, gallbladder, adrenal glands, sympathetic nervous system.

These three layers of our aura are concerned with the manifestations of the physical and are what make up our personalities and individuality.

The fourth layer of our aura is the Astral layer. The astral level of our aura is the bridge between the physical world and the spiritual realm. It is associated with areas of expression on a physical, mental, emotional level and is related to the heart chakra.

Physical imbalances which manifest in the fourth layer of our aura are: thymus, heart, circulatory system, cellular structure.

The fifth layer of our aura is the Etheric Template or divine will. It is associated with the throat and the fifth chakra, our inner identity, the divine within, and being able to speak ones truth.  It can be identified with memory and thought processes and are mirrored within the physical body and are identified with it. This part of our aura reflects the present moment and all future possibilities, so it is capable of always changing.

Physical imbalances related to the Etheric Template are: Thyroid gland, throat, jaw, lungs, vocal cord, thymus, breathe.

The six layer of our aura is called the Celestial Layer. It is associated with the subconscious mind, intuition. It is related to the sixth chakra, the third eye.

Physical imbalances: poor memory, sinus issues, central nervous system, pituitary gland, left eye, cerebellum.

The last layer of our aura is the seventh layer, the Ketheric Template. It is associated with universal consciousness and is related to the crown chakra.  This part of our aura holds all our souls records known as, Akashic records (souls contracts), and reflects all experiences the soul has ever had in this lifetime and past lifetimes . Thoughts and manifestations, group consciousness, unconditional love, and a greater understanding of universal and divine patterns, are held within this layer. Consciousness is expressed in higher concepts of not just linear knowing, but integrated knowing.

Physical imbalances include: right eye, cerebellum, pineal gland.

You don’t have to be a psychic or clairvoyant to see the energy that surrounds you. Try this exercise to see if you can perceive your aura.

1. Turn out the lights and lie down on your bed. Leave your curtains open to allow in natural light.

2. As you lie still on your bed, put your hand above you, toward the ceiling and hold them apart at their full length.

3. Do not stare too hard-just gaze at your hands.

4. Move your hands slowly together until your fingertips are almost, but not quite touching. You will notice that a cloudy blue haze appears around your hands. This is your aura.

How to See Someone Else’s Aura

1. Stand a friend in front of a softly illuminated, plain white background. Make sure there isn’t anything around that could distract you.

2. Choose one spot on your friend’s body to look at- the center of the forehead is best, as this is the location of the third eye chakra.

3. You will need to focus on this spot for at least 60 seconds. After another 30 seconds, attempt to analyze your friend’s surroundings with your peripheral vision while still concentrating on the same spot on their body. Try not to look away or let your mind be distracted.

4. By this time you should see that the background behind your friend has a different color from he wall against which they are standing. This is your own perception of your friend’s aura.
